Sponsor KWWOA Events

The Central Chapter of KWWOA will host a golf scramble at the Barren River State Resort Park on September 27th.   The Golf Course is located at 1149 State Resort Park, Lucas, KY 42156.  Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. CST and there will be a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.

Your registration will be forwarded to Jacob Billingsley so that he may contact you to confirm player groups and score.

The fee includes one golfer and a cookout immediately following the scramble.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

A room block has been set up at the Park.  Rooms may be reserved for $64.95 per night, 2 bedroom cottages for $161.95  and 2 bedroom deluxe villas  for $189.95 per night.  To make a reservation, contact Barren River State Resort Park by August 25, 2017 at 800-325-0057 to take advantage of this rate.  The room block will not be extended beyond this date.

The Western Chapter of KWWOA will host their Annual Conference & Exhibit Show May 16 & 17, 2017 at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, Gilbertsville, Kentucky.  

For those not familiar, the training offers drinking water and wastewater operators up to 12 hours of continuing education, as well as an opportunity to network with their peers and industry representatives.  Also provided, is a one (1) day exhibit show which will offer representatives who provide services and/or products relating to the water and wastewater industry an opportunity to share their knowledge. The conference is well attended by the operators within the Western Chapter and some from various parts of Kentucky. We typically have around 115+ attendees each day, consisting of water and wastewater managers, operators, lab technicians, etc., from private, municipal and industrial applications.

This year’s vendor show will be held on Tuesday, May 16th.  The exhibit set up will be from 1:00 until 4:30 PM CST on Monday, May 15th in Room Number “C” at the KY Dam Convention Center and will open from 8:00 AM till 3:00 PM on Tuesday.  In appreciation for your support of the organization we will host an Appreciation Dinner/Cookout Monday, May 15th at 6:00 CST, located at Executive Cottage No. 318.  Lunch will also be provided on May 16th.

The Central Chapter of KWWOA will host their Fall Conference at Barren River on September 27 & 28th.  This school typically draws in 100 registrants.

As a result, the Chapter is soliciting sponsors for the morning and afternoon breaks for both days.  If you are interested, the cost is $150 for each break.  Your sponsorship will be appreciated and will be acknowledged via signage near the refreshment table.
