The Kentucky Laboratory Analysts Committee was created under the KY Water and Wastewater Operators' Association (KWWOA) for individuals employed in the water quality field. The mission of the KLA is to promote the development of precise and accurate data for the protection and interest of our water quality laboratories and systems. The Committee's goals are to:
To maintain your certification, you must also maintain your membership in KWWOA and the KLA. Membership may be initiated and/or renewed on this website on the "Pay Membership Dues" tab.
Below you will find the application link to register for the 2012 Kentucky Lab Analyst (KLA) training and exam to be held at the Galt House in Louisville, KY, April 16 - 19, 2012. The cost for the Exam is $100.00 and is in addition to the Conference fee ($100.00 for members or $140.00 for individuals that need to pay both their KWWOA and KLA memberships). Upon submittal of your registration/payment for the 55th Annual KWWOA Conference to KWWOA, you should submit a completed KLA certification application, found below, to Robin Strader at the address referenced below. If you are paying for the training/exam via check, you may include the application with the payment and conference registration form.
Training will be April 16 - 18, with testing on April 19, 2012. You may pick up your Conference Registration materials on April 15 at 3:00 p.m. Just a reminder, if you plan to take more than one exam, you must register and pay for each exam. Conference registrations not filed on-line should be mailed, along with your payment made to payable to KWWOA, to

Drinking water microbiologist may also attend this training to count toward their 12 hour CEU requirements, however, it may conflict with Dr. Pass’ training to be held on Wednesday of the conference. Training will be stamped/documented on an hourly basis. You are not required to attend every hour of training to take the exam, but the training is an excellent tool to prepare for the exam.
